"Orion, this is Mission Control. Radio check, over."

"Roger, out." Alfred F. Jones, commander of the sixth Orion mission, replies smoothly. He was thrilled to be commanding Orion 6, because he and his crew were going to the moon. To follow in the footsteps of heroes like Neil Armstrong and Alan Shepard. Alfred's heroes. Alfred F. Jones was going to be the thirteenth American to walk on the moon. Woot, woot.

"Orion, this is Launch Control. Ready abort advisory check."

"Roger, check is satisfactory, out."

"Orion, this is Mission Control-aru. Side hatch is secure-aru." Yao Wang, a Chinese who proudly represented his nation was serving as CapCom for the mission. He would communicate with the crew while they were going to make history.

"Roger, we copy."

"Both cabin vent switches have been closed. We are now at T-5:00 to liftoff."

Five minutes! Five minutes until the launch of one of the greatest space missions in history! Right along with every moon landing. And Alfred was commanding it!

"Control, this is Orion 6. Inertial measurement alignment complete. We show two-eight degrees, three-six minutes, three-zero point three-two seconds north, by eight-zero degrees, three-six minutes one- four point eight-eight seconds west.  Over." Alfred's pilot was a no-nonsense British man by the name of Arthur Kirkland.

"Roger, Orion. Out."

"Latitude and longitude of launch pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center has been confirmed."

The exchanges went on for a long while until the flight director stepped in. Ludwig Beilschmidt, a tall, serious German whose idol was the great Wernher Von Braun was serving as Flight Director. He slowly counted down to launch in his thick German accent.

"15...14...13…12…11…10…9…8…7…6…5…4…"

"Ve! We have liftoff! Orion 6 has cleared the tower!" A bright, bubbly Italian by the name of Feliciano Vargas was serving as PROP for the mission. He would keep the public updated about Orion's mission and he had a lot to talk about as well.

"The tower has been cleared-aru. All engines look good-aru. Beginning roll maneuver-aru."
The exchanges between the capsule and Mission Control went on.

"We have achieved orbit. Over." Arthur announces.

"Roger, Orion 6, out-aru." Yao responds.

"The pilot will now enter OPS106 on the keyboard to change the computer program. We are now at T+3:20."

"Orion 6, begin on-orbit operations-aru."

"Roger, Control. Out." Alfred grins.
Me being the space geek that I am, I wanted to do an APH space mission! Apollo and the Space Shuttle program have both ended unfortunately, but NASA's newest program is Orion, which will get us back to the moon and maybe to Mars.

I used some resources for the launch exchange, actually using a space shuttle simulation script. So it's not an actual Orion script.

I also used "Orion 6" instead of "Orion 1" because I assume that NASA's gonna test launch Orion 1-5 around earth orbit or something like they did with Apollo.

EDIT: Originally, Arthur was going to walk on the moon, but since Ivan is Russian, I decided it should be him.

Of course, my hero Alfred F. Jones is commanding this mission and will be leading our nation back to the moon. Woot, woot! Next part will be here...soon? I don't know.
